We ran a nutrition education session for mothers of children suffering from malnutrition. The CHWs showed them how to make a calorie enriched milk paste, and a multigrain, enriched porridge with much higher nutritional value than regular rice or millet porridge. All the moms went home with food packets from what was made during the session.

Here are some pictures.

  1. Hello, the work you are doing in Bamako seems fascinating to me. I am arriving in Bamako on September 3rd. Would you like to meet up with me sometime after that. I would really like to hear about what you are doing there. My husband is from Mali and I would like to learn more about the inner workings. I have been twice previously and this time I am coming for 6 months to immerse myself. Please contact me so we can meet up sometime.
